Instead of portraying the life stories of these legends which has been done for ages in a impeccably analogous manner, the story portrays college kids who are very clear of the their ideas and who are not afraid. It is a story of the spark of circumstances that ignite minds to take bold decisions.
The story has all the elements of the wicked system, communal differences, freaky kids who fight the system and stand for their beliefs. The best part of the movie is the parallel show of the protagonists as college kids and as freedom fighters; the circumstances that are so comparable to the freedom fighters that these young lot turn to terrorism as their means of expression.
Nowhere is the movie boring or uninspiring- be it the humorous shade given to the characters in the first half or to their go-getter attitude in the second half.

Watching the movie was a thoroughly enjoyable activity. The songs are trendy enough to be foot-tapped to the tunes of and the personalities of the characters and the life they lead are inspiring enough to be imitated. Never before have we had such ideas displayed on big screen. And of course- it is so exciting to watch Aamir do his stuff on screen.
